AGE 5 – 10 YEARS
Each session meets for 6 consecutive classes on TUESDAYS 5:30- 6:30PM

Students are professionally instructed in technique, media and concepts, and work on their own projects at their own level.  Class size varies, but we have between 6 and 12 students in each class.  I will be the instructor.  

Art Supplies & Snack included in $68 Session Fee
Fee is due the first night of class.  No additional fees.  We accept cash or check.  Snacks and all supplies are included, although many of our older students have supplies they like to bring with them.

Class meets at Worsham Hall, 215 N. Elm St., Henderson, KY – every week for 6 weeks.

A Certificate of Achievement Award is awarded to each student. Ice Cream Party for artists and Art Exhibit for friends and family is on the last night of class.

Annual Art Camp for Ages 6 – 12
JULY 22 thru 26, 2024

Ms. Pem’s Art For Kids Annual Art Camp meets from 10 AM til 2 PM at Worsham Hall, 215 N Elm Street, Henderson, KY.

Ms. Pem’s Art For Kids offers formal art instruction in a fun, creative atmosphere. Each child progresses at his or her own pace, learning to master art theory and techniques. Watercolor, pen & Ink, pastels and pencil are all part of Ms. Pem’s Art For Kids experience.

Our spacious art classroom, located in historic Worsham Hall, downtown Henderson, Kentucky, has been specially designed to accommodate spirited, young artists. Enthusiastic students receive individual instruction in contour drawing, composition, shading techniques, light, reflective light, pointillism and other art techniques.

Ms. Pem’s Art For Kids regularly exhibits at Worsham Hall and shows at the Henderson Fine Arts Center, Henderson Library Rotunda, Ohio Township Library, Newburgh, IN. and other local business locations.

Since 1984, hundreds of children have enrolled in Ms. Pem’s Art For Kids Programs and Camps. Today, many of these same students are enjoying successful art careers. A Certificate of Achievement Award is awarded to each student on the last day of class.

READY-FOR-CAMP DETAILS:
Please dress your child in comfortable shoes and play clothes. Our days will be filled with group activities, art projects, walking field trips and guest artist presentations.

Children will need to bring a sack lunch from home. Please pack items that your child can easily open. Nothing that must be microwaved, please.  

Registration fee is $78.00 and due the first day of Camp.  Please make your check payable to Ms. Pem’s Art For Kids. (There are no additional fees.)  Supplies and light snacks are included. There will be an ice cream party for students the last day of Camp.  

Parents and friends of the artists are invited to an Art Exhibit and Certificate of Achievement Award Ceremony the last day of Camp.
